About Us

The Briard Rescue Trust was established in 2005 by the Briard Club of America, to further the Club’s mission regarding Rescue and Education. Our key goals include rescue support and prevention through education. The Trustees do not engage in hands-on rescue, however we network with numerous experienced rescuers throughout the USA. Our mission is to provide resources to all involved in the rescue process and ensure all Briards get the help they need. From owners and breeders to rescuers, foster homes, and adopters … we are here to help.

The Trust’s primary goals include:

  • Maintain a network of rescue resources thru out the USA to ensure all Briards get the help they need.

  • Provide educational resources to the general public to prevent the need for rescue and to assist those involved in the rescue process.

  • Provide financial assistance for costs incurred during the rescue of Briards.

The board’s managing trustee is Constance Hardy, a long-time Briard Club of America (BCA) member with extensive experience in Briard rescue. Please feel free to contact Connie or any of the Trustees or Committee Chairs below.

If you are aware of a Briard that is in need of rescue, go to our Get Help Now page for immediate information and assistance.
