Briard Rescue Trust Governance
The Briard Club of America Rescue Trust is governed by a board of trustees who are charged with oversight and dispersal of the trust's funds.
The board's managing trustee is Merry Jeanne Millner, a long-time Briard Club of America (BCA) member with long experience in Briard rescue. The By-Laws require that three of the five Trustees are Board members of the BCA, and must include the BCA Treasurer and President. The trust takes its fiduciary responsibility seriously and its governance structure is established to allow broad oversight of the trust's operation, balance sheet and dispersal of funding.
